These lenses are phenomenal for the cost. If you've worked with a variety of the more budget-friendly cine lenses, you'll tell the difference as soon as you hold this lens, but then you'll be blown away as soon as you see it through the monitor. I've been putting my gfx100ii with one of these lenses in the hands of my filmmaker friends and asking for first impressions and watching their response echo my own says it all.

Does this come with a clear filter? If not, do you need a filter in to use the lens correctly?

A clear filter is not included with the NiSi ATHENA PRIME 25mm T1.9 Full-Frame Lens (RF Mount, Drop-In Filter). A filter would not be needed for proper functionality.
