The ErgoLift hinge optimally positions the screen and the backlit chiclet keyboard for comfortable typing. Post-industrial recycled (PIR) magnesium-aluminum alloy is incorporated in the keyboard cover, chassis, and lid while the keycaps and speakers use post-consumer-recycled (PCR) and ocean-bound plastics. However, the recycled materials maintain high durability.
This laptop is MIL-STD 810H certified, having passed 26 military-grade durability tests. For instance, it's rated to operate in temperatures ranging from -59.8 to 159.8°F and can withstand 95% humidity for up to 10 days.
