AMAZING mic but Quality Control issues

As far as I know this is the only battery powered condenser microphone in the world and it excels at that immensely. Very high quality condenser microphone that fits in your pocket and works perfectly with iPhone, laptop, and ofc other TE products (TX-6, OP-1F, etc.) ONLY gripe is for the price the quality control. I had to buy and return two mics before I got a working one. The first one had a broken gain switch where the +6db wasn't working. The second one also had a broken gain switch where the 0db wasn't working. The third had as broken mic adapter. I decided to keep it because the mic itself worked great and after contacting TE they said they'd send me a new mic adapter for free. Had no issues since then, but does make me nervous for the life of the product If are willing to buy and return until you get a good one, I'd say it's worth it. Just be careful with it or get a warranty if you want peace of mind.

This was an impulse purchase that I wasn’t sure I would commit to but I’m glad I took the chance with this little mic. Physically, it is designed beautifully which is to be expected from TE, but I would say that this product is also built exceptionally well. Sound wise, this mic has a gorgeous range that is greatly influenced by placement/orientation. Phenomenal mic with a premium for convenience, flexibility, and design.
