The black Action X30 V2 Backpack from Shimoda Designs has a 30L capacity and offers photographers a compact, durable carry solution that allows fast access to gear. Two padded sleeves hold and protect laptops or tablets up to 16". The roll top access allows you to expand or compress the volume depending on your needs. There are multiple attachment straps including TPU compression straps for increased durability when attaching bulky items such as skis. The removable helmet holder secures a bike or ski helmet to the exterior of your pack.

The pack's interchangeable and adjustable shoulder straps feature two zippered pockets to carry the latest pro-sized smartphone, a water bottle, or personal accessories. The removable waist belt offers stability and weight distribution when carrying heavy loads and the trolley sleeve attaches to your rolling luggage handle for seamless travel. Two removable pouches hold a tripod or water bottle and can be moved to the waist belt for instant access or removed completely. A hidden sleeve is designed to hold an AirTag so you can locate your pack if it gets lost or stolen.

Expandable Roll Top

The roll top expands to add an additional capacity of 7L if you need it. The top also has a YKK SplashGuard zipper for quick and easy access to your gear.

Adjustable Torso Height

The X30 has three height options with approximately 2.7" of vertical adjustment. The pack adjusts to provide a custom fit for short, medium and tall torso heights.

Dual Laptop/Tablet Sleeves

Dedicated sleeves are padded and accommodate a 16" laptop plus a tablet.

Hidden Sleeve for Tracking Device

A hidden sleeve holds an AirTag or Tile Pro tracking device so you can locate your pack if it gets lost or stolen.

Comfortable, well organized bag

I haven't actually put this bag to real life use yet, but I did load my gear into it and did some walking around. It's super comfortable and stable. I like that the straps can be adjusted to fit my skinny frame. I will be using this bag for international travel, where I carry my camera gear on my back. I'm sure it will do a splendid job.

How is it possible that this bag is 1.9 lbs, but the bag with the starter kit is 5 lbs or more? Anybody knows the actual weight?

The Shimoda Designs Action X30 V2 Backpack (Black, 30L) alone is 4.2 lb (1.9 kg), and the Starter Kit is 5.3 lb (2.4 kg).

Will 2 Tamron lenses (150-500 mm F/5-6.7 Di III VC VXD and 35-150 mm F/2-2.8 Di III VXD) and a Sony a7 IV camera fit in the bag?

The Shimoda Designs Action X30 V2 Backpack (Black, 30L) will fit with a Sony a7 IV with the Tamron 35-150mm f/2-2.8 Di III VXD Lens (Sony E) attached and the Tamron 150-500mm f/5-6.7 Di III VC VXD Lens (Sony E) loose. Will the Shimoda Action x30 V2 fit a Canon RF 600mm f/4 lens unattached? Will it fit under seat in a RJ 700 airline?

The smallest Shimoda pack that will officially fit a 600mm 4.0 is the Action X40 with the XL40 RST Core Unit. It will fit the lens unattached to a camera. This set-up was designed specifically for 600mm 4.0 lenses and is in use around the world as this pack meets most international carry-on regulations. We do not know if it fits under the seat of a regional jet, though this is highly unlikely given how tiny regional jets are. But the pack will usually fit into the overhead of small aircraft. You could also remove the belt to slim down the pack.

No, you will need to have the lens detached from the body. Then The Sony A1, Sony 200-600mm and the 24-70mm f2.8

This Medium Mirrorless Core ll fit a nikon z9?

The medium core in the Shimoda Designs Action X30 V2 Starter Kit with Medium Mirrorless Core Unit (Yellow) can work with the Z9. But only when placed flat without a lens. It does not work with the Z9 with a lens attached. The Z9 is too tall.
