The Shimoda Designs DV V2 Core Unit (Large) is too big for the Explore V2 35. Depending on your gear, you might need to use a larger backpack and larger insert.

The Large DV Core Unit v2 will fit the Sony 200-600mm lens, even attached to a camera. This DV Core Unit is designed to fit into the Action X70 or X70 HD Backpack, as well as the DV Roller. If you need to fit a Sony 200-600mm lens into a carry-on compatible backpack, like the Explore v2 35, or the Action X40/X50, then the Large DSLR Core Unit v3 will fit those airline compatible backpacks, and will also fit the Sony lens attached to a camera.
