Adds some nice mounting points without too much bulk. The bottom plate in front has 1/4”-20 holes where you can attach the Smallrig 942 dual rod clamp for situations where you need rods closer to the lens, such as for a lens support. I know others have complained about the v-mount plate blocking the rear tally lamp, but I don’t use it and you can remove it from the cage.
