Follow instructions to remove the HDD from its electrostatic control packaging to prevent damage. Easily installed in the Synology 925DS NAS HDD housing. Worked flawlessly upon power up.

Will this drive be pre-configured as a 4Kn (4K ...

Will this drive be pre-configured as a 4Kn (4K native) hard drive instead of a 512e? If not, how do I configure it to be so?

The Synology 4TB HAT3300 Plus 5400 rpm SATA III 3.5" Internal NAS HDD is pre-configured as 512e, and there is no supported method to reformat it in 4Kn.
