Teris JQ50-III Overview

Designed and built to be lightweight, easy to use, and vibration free in operation, the JQ50-III Carbon Fiber Mini Jib from Teris is a compact jib that supports cameras and rigs weighing up to 22 lb. Its lightweight carbon fiber arm extends, and it has a tilt range of +87/-66°, allowing you to create smooth cinematic camera moves. This flexible jib is designed with a gimbal mount that is compatible with DJI RS 4 Pro, Ronin-S, RS 3, RS 3 Pro, RS 2, and Zhiyun CRANE-2 gimbal stabilizers.

The jib features a weight bar that allows you to hang standard weights from the bar to counterbalance your camera and head on the jib. There is a safety line that attaches to the gimbal mount to prevent slipping or disconnecting. The arm measures 12.8 to 16.4' in length, weighs only 15.7 lb, and folds down to 4.3', making it easy to transport in the included case.

Note:
Neither camera, tripod, fluid head, nor counterbalance weights are included, and they must be sourced separately.

If I setup a "Manfrotto Half Ball Leveler / BH #MA500BALL" on my Tripod Legs, can I attach this Jib and get full movement?

If the Camera setup weighs 12lbs, what weight rating should the Tripod have?

I asked this question, because I was hoping to put a Sony Burano Camera with a Gimbal on this Jib, and in my calculations, I expected the Camera+Gimbal setup to be about 13lbs. I had asked how much weight a Tripod should be able to support, if the Jib were to be fully extended. When I did my calculations, I came up with a rather larger number. Camera+Gimbal = 13 lbs Jib = 15.7 lbs Counterbalance weights = 13 lbs x 5 = 65 lbs (assuming 5:1 ratio of Jib Lengths) Hence, Total weight to support = 13 + 15.7 + 65 = 93.7 lbs For this Teris Jib, I see that a "Recommended Accessory" Tripod is the "Miller CX8 Head and 75 Sprinter II Carbon Fiber Tripod with Mid-Level Spreader and Case / BH #MICX875S2MLS". But, this Tripod's Fluid Head can support only 26.4 lbs (although the spec says the "Tripod" can support 66.1 lbs - I find these two different numbers confusing...) Could you please clarify? Yes, the Teris JQ50-III Carbon Fiber Mini Jib will work with the Zhiyun Crane 4. The Crane 4 has a 1/4 20 screw attachment that will work with included 1/4 20 mounting insert on the JQ50-111 Jib.
