SmallRig FreeBlazer Heavy-Duty Tripod Reviews
Surprisingly light and very stable tripod
I was trying to choose between 2-4 pounds category and 6-12 pounds. My camera with larges lens, grip and flash on is about 11 pounds, so I decided to proceed looking in 3-5 (after I tried lighter and it was clear this could never work due to simple physics). I was even sceptical about this category, but this tripod is something. It is light so I can lift it with one hand even with geared head on it. It is very sturdy, - horizontal stabilizers can be in expanded mode and in shorter state making it possible to make this stable when expanded to full height and half height. This handles my super heavy camera pretty well, and I can set it with any angle. One of the lens I own is RF 200-800 IS USM which is super long when zoomed in, and this tripod handles it without any problem.
Pro Quality, Consumer price
Sturdy, easy to use, quick to set up. Paired it with a DH12 fluid head.
