With its easy portability and a sharp, aberration-free image, the straight-viewing TSN-66S 66mm PROMINAR Spotting Scope from Kowa is built for nature observation in the wild. A separately sold eyepiece is required for use.
The scope's fully sealed, nitrogen-purged housing is made of durable but lightweight magnesium, keeping its weight down to just 2.5 pounds. Kowa's pure fluorite crystal objective lens all but eliminates fringing for color accuracy and clarity, and the dual fast/fine focus makes it easy to dial in the details of your subject. The tripod mount has two holes with adapters that accept both 1/4" and 3/8" posts. A detachable aiming sight on the accessory collar and another, built-in sight on the sunshade help orient the scope toward the subject. The threaded collar with bayonet mount accepts a wide range of accessories, eyepieces, camera adapter for digiscoping, extenders, and more.
