If I have a native MFT lens on a BMPCC 4k (ex: Lumix 12-35) will Nano II allow me to control focus without using the motor?
Asked by: Michael
Yes, when using the Tilta Nucleus Nano II Handwheel Controller (BH #TIWLCT05HWC) from the Tilta Nucleus Nano II FIZ Wireless Lens Control System with the Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema Camera 4K, operators can use the handwheel alone to activate the Pocket Camera's autofocus. Since the Panasonic Leica DG Vario-Elmarit 12-35mm f/2.8 ASPH. POWER O.I.S. Lens (Micro Four Thirds) has an autofocus motor, when activating the BMPCC 4k's autofocus via the handwheel, the lens will focus on the subject in the center of frame.

Can the hand wheel controller unit be powered via the USB port? If so what are the voltage requirements
Asked by: Anthony
Yes, the Tilta Nucleus Nano II Handwheel Controller (B&H # TIWLCT05HWC), which is included in the Tilta Nucleus Nano II FIZ Wireless Lens Control System, has an internal battery that can be charged continuously via USB-C. Because the USB-C port would be continuously charging the internal battery rather than directly powering the unit, it can receive a power range of 7.4V-16.8V, but it is best to use a USB-C power source with Power Distribution to ensure power compatibility.
