Extra-low dispersion glass and multiple layers of antireflective XLT coating combine to produce high-contrast views with accurate color fidelity. Binoculars of this size and magnifying power require stable support, so the SkyMaster Pro ED can be mounted on a tripod with an optional adapter. Special eyepiece threads allow the use of 1.25" astronomical filters to improve your viewing experience.

Poor design

The optics seemed good enough for what I paid but unfortunately, the 1.25 filter threads in the eyepiece take up so much of the eye relief that it was impossible for me to see the whole field of view.

I want to mount this skymaster onto a Gitzo tripod. Is there a tripod screw hole on the skymaster?
