Major Design Flaw, Do Not Buy

DJI RS4 battery handle only has one screw at the bottom, meaning any kind of baseplate need to prevent twisting. This side handle seems to have 1 anti-twist plate and 2 screws, but: 1. The anti-twist plate only prevents rotation of one direction. Clockwise twist of the side handle can kind of be prevented because the screw hole is near the front of handle, yet if you twist the side handle counter-clockwise it will immediately twist and get loose. 2. Due to point 1, the anti-twist plate will have much more pressure at its front than its back when in use, and scratched my handle, as you can see in the picture. The baseplate in the picture is from Neewer shoulder strap, which has 2 NATO rails on each side plus the front edge, showing how anti-twist should properly be done. 3. The anti-slippery padding does not help since DJI RS4 handle has a smooth plastic at its bottom. They should have added 2 anti-twist plate and this design is really not well thought. If you put any kind of strap on it then it will further risk your whole rig.

Holy smokes, this handle is SO WELL MADE. It's all metal, with a lightly cushioned grip, locks in place beautifully both folded and unfolded, has plenty of places to mount additional accessories, and even comes with a lovely little key to tighten the screws with - a nice little extra that would normally be prone to getting lost, except this one magnetically snaps into place (so satisfying) on the underside of the base. Magnificent!! I ordered this and another handle for my Zhiyun Crane gimbal because I wasn't sure which would be better, and this is the clear winner. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Yes, the SmallRig Side Handle for Select Gimbals would also work with the RS4 Mini Gimbal. Just remove the 3/8 screw from the handle baseplate and use the 1/4-20 to attach to the RS4 Mini.
