Dell has not published specs on the internal clearance available inside the XPS 9530, but in general drives with heatsinks such as the Samsung 4TB 990 PRO PCIe 4.0 x4 M.2 Internal SSD with Heatsink will not be able to fit inside laptops.

QNAP states that M.2 heatsinks must not exceed a height of 4.5 mm; in that case, I'd recommend going with the Samsung 4TB 990 PRO PCIe 4.0 x4 M.2 Internal SSD, BH #SAMZV9P4T0B. This version will fit the QNAP TBS-h574TX Thunderbolt 4 NASbook enclosure.
