Does it overheat with long 4K video recording?

Does it overheat with long 4K video recording?
Asked by: OREST S.
Typically, filming at higher resolutions, like 4K video, the camera will get warm. Overheating can depend on other variables: exposure settings, frame rate, environment, and how long the camera records for at a time. The Nikon Zf Mirrorless Camera and others like it do a good job at letting you know when a camera is getting too close to overheating. Also, switching off any other camera functions that are not necessary while recording will assist with that.

Is it normal that camera body in off position has rattling sounds inside, when I slightly shake it?
Asked by: Vadym
The rattle that you hear in the Nikon Zf Mirrorless Camera is due to the image stabilizer (also called Vibration Reduction). It is only activated when the camera is on which is why the rattle disappears when in use.
