Nikon NIKKOR Z 600mm f/6.3 VR S Reviews
Great lens!
Awesome zoom lens. Meets my needs to shoot wildlife.
Great choice for birds photography!
I’ve been shooting with the Nikon Z8 and the 500mm f/5.6 PF + TC 1.4x (via FTZ) for a while and loving it, but I always found myself wanting a bit more reach for birds. The TC stayed on almost permanently during sunny days. I kept eyeing the Nikkor Z 600mm PF to see if it was worth dropping the TC and adapter. When B&H dropped the price to $3,900, I finally pulled the trigger—and using the Payboo card to save on tax made it an even better deal. Zero regrets on making the switch! Side-by-side, the Z 600mm is nearly the same size as the 500mm + FTZ combo, so it fits right into my ThinkTank Glass Limo backpack. Handholding is an absolute breeze, the Synchro VR is superb, and the birds images are tack-sharp at f/6.3. Here are a few recent bird photos from the new setup.
