Ideal for technical documents, CAD drawings, GIS maps, posters, signs, and displays, the TM-340 utilizes UV and water-resistant inks to add a level of protection that can withstand many outdoor conditions, making the printer well-suited for creating and taking building plans onto construction sites. The printer is also equipped with newly formulated magenta ink, allowing the printer to achieve excellent red color development. The TM-340 also produces highly visible posters, making it possible to create attention-grabbing retail signs and engaging office displays. For operating the printer, a tiltable color touchscreen is featured, and the printer has wired and wireless networking via Ethernet and Wi-Fi connectivity. A USB 2.0 connection is also provided for a simple connection to a computer.

Does everything come with to hold a roll of paper or do I need to purchase the roll adapters separately?
The Canon imagePROGRAF TM-340 36" Large Format Printer comes with everything you need to print on roll papers that have a 2" core. Since many roll papers come on a 3" core, I strongly recommend buying the 3" core adapter kit found here: https://bhpho.to/2rtzxPo.

Will this print on foam poster boards? What thickness does this printer accommodate?
The Canon imagePROGRAF TM-340 can print on materials up to 31.5mil thick (0.8mm). So if your poster board is inkjet compatible and 0.8mm or less it will work.
