SmallRig 4234 Reviews
Great way to mount a SmallRig camera frame (ARCA) on Manfrotto tripod head.
I needed a way to mount my Lumix S9 (ARCA mount) on my Miller DS5 Tripod (Manfrotto mount). The Miller is overkill for a hand held camera like the Lumix S9. But I wanted the Miller's fluid head, and the rock solid stability of my pro Miller tripod. This Manfrotto to ARCA adapter allows me to use my tripod to mount my S9 to which I have added a SmallRig ARCA frame. It was surprisingly hard to find this adapter. Guess not many people want to attach a still camera (ARCA) to a pro tripod (Manfrotto). But this adapter does the job, and I get to keep my lovely Miller tripod.
Love to see this
I've jury-rigged a dozen things like this and was glad to see somebody just make one. I like it. Some situations will make you want a longer plate, but I'm happy to have a short one that I can leave in the bag easily.
