The rugged B2-40-LR II Lever Release Clamp from Really Right Stuff is compatible with most Arca-type camera plates, camera bars, and multipurpose rails. The jaws of the clamp open wide for plates to be top-loaded quickly and easily.
The quick release locking lever opens or closes using only finger force but still provides a robust holding power of up to 50 lb for any Arca-type compatible quick release plate. The base design allows the B2-40-LR to mount directly on products with rosette-type platforms. A separately available rosette adapter makes it compatible with tripod heads that have a tongue-groove design. The clamp features a threaded 1/4"-20 counter-sunk mounting socket, which accepts the included 1/4"-20 screw or metric 6 screw for mounting to a ball head stem or other device.
Index marks are laser engraved on both sides of the clamp, so a position can be repeated reliably. The stainless steel quick release locking lever has a low profile that hugs the side of the clamp very closely to minimize the risk of damage.
