Are the locating points retractables? I would like to use it with my camera and I don't have any locating points under my plate.
Do you mean when you said "push into" that the locating pin retracts in the ball heads? Or does it push into the item and not screw correctly? It's not clear.

No, the ends of the Tilta Pro Articulating Arm with Dual Ball Heads cannot be removed. But if you want to add a NATO end, you can use the NATO adapter listed below:
