Negative Supply BRISERXL Reviews

Extremely overpriced, poor quality

Everything is 3D printed. This is very clearly a beta product that should be 75% cheaper. The materials alone can be purchased from other vendors for less than $100. If you have a 3d printer or know someone who does save your money and get a cheaper option and print your own. Your money does not but you quality with this product.

Expensive, but better than others

This kit has more parts than I can use, but getting the individual parts was even more expensive. I have used Nikon Coolscan, Epson 850 scanner, Easy35 before this. I have now scanned several thousand negatives with this scanner. The Easy35 works well in handling negatives and handles 2 and 3 image negatives better than this unit. The Easy35 also handles cardboard mounted slides better than this unit. However, you will have to bracket images on the Easy35 because the light source is not at the same level as this unit. If this unit could handle slides better and if you could buy a shorter cartridge for 2 and 3 frame film strips, it would be much better. I will still use the Easy35 for slides, because the ability to feed them is better than this unit. I will just have to put up with the lower quality light source. Is this unit worth 3 times the price. Only if you are attempting to run a huge quantity of negatives and have mostly 4 or longer film strips. For the occasional user, the Easy35 will do the job, but you will need to bracket your images. The other issue with this unit is the tolerances of the parts are not tight. I had to tape down everything to keep from getting movement. If the film cassette had tighter tolerance, I would not have to adjust the final image location as much.
