The black Powerline 8 Battery Charger from Ansmann charges up to 8 AA or AAA-sized nickel-metal hydride rechargeable batteries. Using the discharge feature in the Ansmann Powerline 8-Bay Battery Charger for AA / AAA NiMH Rechargeable Batteries is optional. It does not discharge a battery before recharging.
