No, the Tilta Mirage VND Kit does not cut IR on it's own, but you can add Vaxis IRND filters to the matte box to block out IR light.

Is it possible to get an adapter to be able to put the system to the carl zeiis Cp2 cine prime optics?
No it is not. The CP2s have a larger opening than this matte box therefore if you attach this matte box to your CP2s it is far more likely to create a vignette.

The Tilta Mirage VND Kit (B&H# TIMBT16A) has a female 1/4"-20 thread in the bottom along with two locator holes on either side of it.
