The ARRI 4-Leaf Barndoors for LED SkyPanel S30 is a lightweight accessory that helps diminish spill light and control the beam spread of the LED SkyPanel S30.

ARRI Molded Case for S30 Double SkyPanel (Light Gray)

Store, protect, and transport your S30 Double SkyPanel in this light gray ARRI Single Molded Case . The power supply fits in the lower compartment, with two S30 heads and two attached diffusion panels nestled above the power supply. In addition, the case can hold up to six additional panels in the main compartment, as well as necessary cables in the lid. Two wheels allow the case to be lifted from one end and rolled to your location.

These lights are powerful. Not just in brightness but in features. Being able to plug into an outlet without much concern for power, adjust to precisely any color (hue/sat) or color temp, load in animations for effects and style, our list keeps growing. We bought these as an alternative to Diva for a soft, quick to setup and adjust run and gun light and they have proven to be that and more. Since owning them they have little downtime from being on set. Sure they are a hefty investment but it all the other hassles they are saving us from it is turning out to be well worth it. We purchased 2 S30s just because we travel a lot and size was a factor. The only things worth mentioning are that They are pretty heavy and have to use an external ballast for power (unless running batteries) and the mounting bracket doesn't quickly come off which add a considerable amount to the overall size. We will probably need to remove the bracket once we need to pack them in a condensed situation but even still this is nothing to dwindle the 5 star rating.

According to the user manual included with the ARRI SkyPanel Battery Adapter Plate, you may use an Anton/Bauer or V-mount battery that has a voltage of 14.4V, with a minimum of 100 Wh. 210 W is nominal, while 240 W is the maximum recommended for usage with the ARRI Anton Bauer Battery Plate for Skypanel S30 and S60 LED Soft Lights, B&H # ARBPABSP, or the ARRI V-Mount Battery Plate for Skypanel S30 and S60 LED Soft Lights, B&H # ARBPVMSP. Always use two batteries of the same type, age, and state of charge.

Can someone please recommend a dmx control board to use these in a small studio? I want to be able to change the color to chroma green with out manually adjusting each one.

No, we always send ours (we have 2 30's in a hard case) with ground teams or ship them FedEx ground. Our case with both units is about 65lbs.
