Fully extended to 78", the tripod is tall enough to comfortably look through the eyepieces of your astronomical binoculars. The 9-pound load capacity is sufficient to support Oberwerk binocular telescopes up to the 20 x 80 Deluxe III. The tripod folds down to 33" for storage and transport.
