Designed for stargazing with binocular telescopes, the 5000 Series Tripod with Fluid Head from Oberwerk features sturdy three-section aluminum legs and a fluid head with dual panning handles. Fully extended to 89", the tripod is tall enough to comfortably look through the eyepieces of your astronomical binoculars. The 24-pound load capacity is sufficient to support Oberwerk binocular telescopes up to the BT-100XL-ED. The tripod folds down to 36" for storage and transport.
