The Lightspeed FMN Flexmike Classroom Microphone for Teachers is a battery-operated microphone for use with Lightspeed classroom audio systems. When used with a Lightspeed base station setup in the desired area, Flexmike projects the teacher's voice clearly over a 200' indoor range. Volume controls allow the presenter to quickly and conveniently make volume adjustments as necessary, and audio can be monitored via a 3.5mm headphone output.
PA announcements are allowed to "talk-over" any active content. Additional microphones can be added for student responses as well as monitoring student discussions or projects. The unidirectional pickup pattern reduces noise and unwanted audio transmission, and the unit lasts up to 8 hours when fully charged, providing enough time to get through a school day without recharging. The unit can be charged via separately available cradle or via the USB-C hybrid audio/power input.
