Decent but room to improve

The swivel is too loose and I had to crank it to make my monitor not flop around. Also was worried I was going to strip the screw trying to tighten or loosen it. This is the biggest issue I had. The nato clamps are great, but as one reviewer said they don’t fit on smallrig cage for atomos shinobi 7 and other nato rails. This is because the clamps don’t have flat bottom with a top bevel, instead it’s a v channel. No big deal, add a rail and moved on. Overall 4 stars. Fix the swivel tension and it’s easily 5.

I really like the dual nato mount. Im able to mount this on my top handle that has a nato rail, and if I ever need to remove the top handle and mount the monitor directly onto my camera, I can easily do so now. It would have been better if the two locks were facing in the same direction. As you can see, the arrow points in opposite directions. So, that can be a little annoying. The other thing, the knob on the side is your tension knob. It works well at preventing my monitor from falling and gives a good amount of friction to it. The issue is, if you loosn this knob, then there is zero friction and it will just fall. It would have been nice if there was a minimum friction amount so this wouldnt happen. Youll need to be careful of this. On the bright side, I've never had it accidentally fall. And it has never loosened up on me over time.
