I bought the X3 for Sony back in 2024. It works great. I wanted to get a second one, but I see they've intentionally downgraded the quality by using a plastic hotshoe to try to push you to the more expensive "pro" model. They kept the price the same. That's pretty shady.

Pretty much plug and play. Set the chanels to match and off you go. Color Touch screen and form factor are great. As noted elsewhere, mount not so much. It's fiddly and, as such, presents an annoyance. Dock it a star for that annoyance but it does stay in place. Don't order if that that bugs you. I shoot 80% on a tripod when I use flash, so not too bad. Still...Godox...c'mon!

No, the battery in the The Godox Xnano S Touchscreen TTL Wireless Flash Trigger for Sony is not replaceable. It has a built-in rechargeable lithium battery. To charge the trigger a USB-C port is utilized.
