SmallRig Screen Protector Reviews
Best screen protector I have used.
Easy to install and no bubbles under the screen. I highly recommend this product.
Great! Can be reapplied*
These are very easy to apply; on my initial application it didn't immediately cling, allowing me to fine-tune the placement, then I gently pressed on one edge, and the glass pulled itself down (surprisingly pretty to watch) turning completely clear like a wipe transition effect. Unfortunately I missed a tiny speck of dust on the back of the glass itself, which led to a bubble--that was my mistake. There's not much info on removing these! I just wedged a fingernail under one corner and pried and hoped, and it popped right off. I re-cleaned the LCD and the back of the glass, and re-applied, and once again, the glass adhered with a slow linear progression. This time, there was an area near the hinge that didn't completely cling unless I wiped over it with the cleaning cloth, and it would then get a fresh air gap while moving the LCD, but that went away completely overnight, and I don't even notice the glass now. There is a tiny blemish where I pried the corner of the glass up to reposition--I should have just discarded and started with one of the other 3, I'm guessing I'll never use all 4 of the protectors. However, that corner blemish has also become less pronounced. You can see if it you know it's there, but it's not over the LCD itself. Very pleased with these! The only thing I could wish for is a small, tagboard sleeve for a single protector and the wipes that I could tuck in my camera bag to have a spare in case something does scratch the protector. The box they came in is great, but it's the size of a small deck of cards, and I don't want to dedicate that much space in my bag. I'll probably make my own travel sleeve from some repurposed packaging. The specks you see in the picture are on top of the glass--they landed there seconds after I wiped the screen clean before I snapped a picture.
