SmallRig 4268B Reviews
Replacement worked better!
I can’t edit my previous review, so here’s a new one (original review attached): Smallrig reached out to me and offered to replace the DC adapter. The new adapter seems to work fine. I haven’t received any error messages with the replacement unit Great support from Smallrig! As for the camera’s battery door, as stated in the original review, that’s a Sony problem! This was listed as compatible with the new Sony A7V. However, the camera throws and error message stating that the battery may not work with the camera. It does, but the error message is worrying and annoying. What's even more annoying is the fact that there's no slot or hole in the battery compartment door for the cable. This means you have to leave the battery door open whenever you use this AC/DC battery adapter! At some point I know the door will break off the camera! Coming from Canon, where they think of these issues this is a really dumb design. Good job Sony!
Works Great With My FX-30
I Often Record Long Events. This Coupler And Dummy Battery Give Me The Opportunity Not To Worry About Switching Batteries.
