The 77mm UV IR Cut Filter from Simmod is an ultraviolet, infrared filter that blocks 88% of ultraviolet rays at 380 nanometers and 95% of infrared light waves at 700 nanometers. When used with multi-stop ND filters, potential infrared color shifts can be minimized for color accuracy. In broad daylight or other bright settings, this filter also reduces unwanted blue cast.
Made with 28 layers of multi-resistant coating, the glass is scratch-resistant and easy to clean. The slim ring design makes it compatible with wide-angle lenses with an equivalent width of a 17mm full-frame lens.
This filter is useful with CCD or CMOS sensors to filter out infrared pollution.
