Both the thumb grip and shutter release button are exactly as advertised. The thumb grip is much closer to the body than previous grips I’ve used, making it much more comfortable laying against my side using a camera strap. The shutter release button has an unexpected side effect. It makes the half press less distinguishable, which leads to unintended shutter release before I’m ready to take the shot. It’s more about the Fujifilm shutter mechanism than the accessory itself. I’m very happy with these products.
