The HiTi P525L Photo Printer with 4 x 6" Print Kit from B&H combines the versatile P525L printer with two media packs that will quickly and easily output 2000 4 x 6" prints in the studio, office, or on location.

HiTi P525L Photo Printer

Easily transportable and with impressive print speeds, the P525L Photo Printer from HiTi features improved durability and color compared to its predecessor and provides an excellent solution for photo booths and on-location event photographers to produce quality prints on the spot. This printer uses dye diffusion thermal transfer with a max resolution of 300 dpi to produce full color prints rapidly. It can produce a 4 x 6" print in just 12.8 seconds along with the ability to create 5 x 7" and 6 x 8" prints when needed. Additionally, users can select between either matte and glossy finishes.

Operation is simple with a monochrome LCD to check printer status and five hard buttons. Also, the unit has USB 2.0 connectivity for working directly with a computer and it can accept an optional Wi-Fi dongle which adds support for direct access from an Android or iOS device.

Title: Frustrating Printer Experience Review: My recent encounter with my printer left me thoroughly disappointed. Despite my best efforts to troubleshoot and reload the ink, the device consistently claimed a lack of ink. To make matters worse, the printer was plagued by frequent paper jams during my attempts to resolve the ink issue. This ongoing problem became increasingly exasperating, disrupting my printing tasks and causing overall inconvenience. Despite multiple attempts to address the ink deficiency by reloading it, the printer stubbornly clung to its insistence on an ink shortage. Adding another layer of frustration was the printer's penchant for constant paper jams, turning the troubleshooting process into a time-consuming ordeal. Regrettably, even after extensive efforts, I have yet to find a solution or obtain a single successful printout. In conclusion, while the printer may boast certain strengths, the persistent ink-related errors and paper jams have undeniably marred the overall user experience. I'm hopeful that future updates or effective troubleshooting solutions will rectify these issues, ensuring users a more seamless and reliable printing process.

Can I print it straight from my canon eos 30d? If not do you have something similar that does?

No, in order to be able to print directly from a camera, a printer needs to support Pictbridge. Unfortunately there are no similar Dye Sublimation printers with that feature other than the compact and portable ones such as the Canon Selphy printers.

There is no way to lock this printer unfortunately as it comes. The one way would be to put it in a case that can be used with a lock. However we do not have an option for it..

Construction. P525 was redesigned for more durability for portability. Simply replaced some plastic parts for a more durable shell. Same architecture.
