Elvid MIVIDCON-3GS-HD Overview

Send SDI signals to your HDMI equipment with the Elvid 3G-SDI to HDMI Micro Video Converter. This converter features one 3G-SDI input and converts the signal to one HDMI output, allowing you to route video from an SDI camera or switcher to HDMI gear such as a computer or monitor. Each input and output supports up to 1080p60 resolution video, and there is also a 3G-SDI loop output for local monitoring.

The unit is powered using a USB input from a computer or device with a 5V USB output, or it can be powered using the included power adapter. The durable metal chassis keeps the converter protected and its compact size allows for easy transport.

NOTE: This device will not properly convert audio with HD-SDI streams from Blackmagic Design devices (3G-SDI streams are fully compatible).

Broadcast-Quality Converter
The MIVIDCON-3GS-HD converts a 3G/HD-SDI signal from a camera or switcher to your HDMI workflow, such as a computer, HDMI monitor, or projector.
SDI Loop Output
The SDI loop output allows you to send through the SDI signal to your other SDI-based gear like a monitor, projector, or switcher for local monitoring or production.
Power Options
The converter can be powered via USB from a computer or other device with a powered 5V USB output. If mains power is available, a power adapter is included to power the converter from an AC outlet.
Metal Chassis

does these units convert, (or downscale 4K cameras to 1080-60p?) or do we have to send only a 1080 signal to the device?

The Elvid 3G-SDI to HDMI Micro Video Converter does not scale; you would have to set your output to a compatible resolution and frame rate.
