The short, 6 or 9" Baby Side Snap-In Arm from Impact forms a rock-solid connection with a super clamp or other grip device with a 5/8" hex receiver. It's a perfect accessory for mounting light fixtures and studio gear onto the riser section of a light stand or on a horizontal surface like a tabletop or truss. The arm adds two vertical or horizontal baby pins to hold extra gear without the clutter of additional stands. And it's configured to provide a 6 or 9" offset for any mounted attachments so that it won't interfere with lights or other accessories mounted on the stand's top mount. The knurled baby-pin design assures a secure and nonslip mount for any attached gear.
Side Arm
This side arm can be clamped anywhere along the vertical riser section of a light stand or a horizontal surface like a table or truss. It provides a 6 or 9" offset from the support structure, so a light fixture can be placed directly above the lens axis without the need for a boom. Easily position a light fixture over a set wall or anyplace else it may be difficult to place a stand.
Side and End Hex Pins
The A-SBSI-L is designed with end and side hex snap-in pins for a non-twist attachment to a super clamp to easily mount lights and accessories anywhere along a C-stand riser or tubing, like a Varipole or lighting truss. A super clamp will also provide versatility for mounting lights in places where C-stands won't go, like a tabletop, shelf, or door.
Vertical and Horizontal Positioning
Dual hex studs provide a way to position the two baby pins in a vertical or horizontal orientation. Whether mounting a single light fixture on the top pin, underslung from the bottom pin over the top of a set wall, or two opposing light fixtures side by side, the baby slide snap-in arm will let you position them your way.
Knurled Baby Pin Design
The two baby pins feature knurling for a firm grip. Once you tighten the light's locking knob, it will be the last time you have to think about it until teardown.
