How does the feedback eliminator work?

How does the feedback eliminator work?
Asked by: Larry
The Behringer Europower PMP4000 1600W 16-Channel Powered PA Mixer with Multi-FX Processor and Feedback Eliminator uses a high-resolution 24-bit, 40 kHz audio processing system to continuously monitor the output of the main amplifier and the input of the microphone preamps. It identifies the specific frequencies that are being fed back. Once a feedback frequency is detected, the FBQ adjusts the EQ on the affected channel to cut that frequency, reducing or eliminating the loop.
