The Aguilar TH 700 Gen 2 is a powerful yet portable bass amplifier head designed to deliver a warm, soulful sound inspired by vintage tube amps. This amplifier delivers a round harmonically rich character and provides 700 watts at 2.67 ohms while still being lightweight for gigging musicians. The flexible EQ section features controls for Treble and Bass along with a semiparametric Mid EQ.

The TH 700 also features a series effects loop, a pair of balanced XLR DI outputs, and a rear panel speakON output. Connect a tuner to the 1/4" output, while the 3.5mm jack provides headphone monitoring with volume control. An additional 3.5mm aux input is also provided. The USB-C connector allows you to upload files from the Aguilar Cabinet Suite, providing seamless integration with any SL or DB cabinet. In addition, you can upload your own IR files, unlocking almost limitless creative potential. Universal power mains provide international compatibility.

Excellent Tone Ruined By Shockingly Loud Fan Noise

The Amp Sounds Fantastic, Warm, Punchy, And Everything You Would Expect Tonally, But The Fan Noise Is Unacceptable For A Product In This Price Range. The Shrill Pitch Is Still Way Too Loud For Quiet Moments And Makes It Hard To Do Anything Creative When You Are Not Playing Over It. I Only Practice With Open Back Headphones, And Even During Solo Sessions The Fan Whine Cuts Through, Breaking Focus And Killing Inspiration. It Is Baffling That A Manufacturer Charging This Much Could Not Engineer Quieter Cooling When So Many Others Manage To Do So Easily. The Tone Is Great, But The Design Oversight On Acoustic Noise Is Amateurish. They Should Honestly Be Embarrassed That An Amp This Loud Ever Left Their Factory.
