aguilar TH500V2 Overview

The Aguilar TH 500 Gen 2 is a powerful yet portable bass amplifier head designed to deliver a warm, soulful sound inspired by vintage tube amps. This amplifier delivers a round harmonically rich character and provides 500W while still being lightweight for gigging musicians. The flexible EQ section features controls for Treble and Bass along with a sweepable Mid EQ.

The TH 500 also features a series effects loop, a pair of balanced XLR DI outputs, and a rear panel 2.7-ohm speakON output for external cabinets. Connect a tuner to the 1/4" output, while the 3.5mm jack provides headphone monitoring with volume control. An additional 3.5mm aux input is also provided. The USB-C connector allows you to upload files from the Aguilar Cabinet Suite, providing seamless integration with any SL or DB cabinet. In addition, you can upload your own IR files, unlocking almost limitless creative potential. Universal power mains provide international compatibility.

Tone Hammer Sound
Inspired by the soulful warmth of classic tube designs, Tone Hammer series is warm, harmonically rich, and has just the right amount of character to inspire your playing.
3-Band EQ with Drive
Simple and intuitively designed, its 3-band EQ beautifully sculpts your tone with its fully sweepable midrange, so you can further fine-tune your sound. Its unique Drive control utilizes a proprietary circuit, which adds subtle distortion and midrange punch to the sound.
Aguilar Cabinet Suite
With the Aguilar software suite, players have the ability to load any of the in-house designed SL/DB cabinet IR's or to load their own custom IR files for cabinet emulation options via XLR or headphone out.
Dual XLRs and Expanded Connecitivity
With dual XLR outputs users can freely shape their tone and apply cabinet IR's for their monitor mix, while simultaneously using the additional XLR to send a pre-eq'd signal to the front of house mix. Now, you can keep your engineer happy and inspired. These amps also feature stereo 3.5mm aux in and headphone out options for silent practice, and mix control to fine-tune your listening experience.
Universal Mains Input
The Tone Hammer Series features universal mains for worry-free voltage changes when traveling internationally and the ability to support a 2.67-ohm load for expanded cabinet pairings.
