On paper this flash seems like it would be great, but after a few years of using it Ive noticed some very annoying quirks. My biggest issue has been with the batteries, I have replaced 3 of the 4 batteries I've owned for this system. I go to use them one day and they have randomly stopped working or stopped charging. I picked one up from my storage shelf one day and the internal cell was rattling around the casing like it shrunk 20% in size, and of course wasn't working and wouldn't charge so it turned into a paperweight overnight for seemingly no reason. Secondly, when using it as an off camera strobe the power adjustments simply do not work. When manually increasing the power from 1/128 up to 1/8 the output doesn't actually change. Thought I was going crazy until I measured it with a light meter and it would not actually get any brighter/darker. Finally I was getting mixed results when using it as an on camera flash for events. Changing metering modes and flash settings on my camera didn't seem to improve anything, the flash would not do a good job of reading the scene and photos would often be extremely bright or dark, even changing output between 2-3 shots of the same scene/group. Very annoying Overall I would not recommend this flash to anyone, especially at its price point.
