Impact Grip Arm 40" Overview

An integral tool for studio productions, the 40" Grip Arm from Impact securely holds light fixtures, modifiers, and grip gear. Durably constructed with a 22 lb load capacity and an ergonomic T-handle for maximum torque, this metal arm consists of a 2.5" grip head mounted onto the end of a 40" long shaft designed to support moderately heavy gear. This arm is ideal for rigging hair lights or accent lights directly above the camera lens.

The included hexagonal 2.5" grip head features industry-standard hole sizes to fit a variety of accessories. The versatile grip head has a 5/8" hole for baby pin accessories, a 3/8" hole for gobos, and a 1/8" hole for thin wire rigging. The end hex pin keeps accessories, lights, and light modifiers from twisting out of position.

Was Very Impressed By The New Impact Grip Arm. Love The Design Of The Handle With The Ball Shaped Ends, Makes It So Much Easier To Get That Extra Torque To Ensure A Nice And Tight Grip! I Love The Black Finish To The Arm Itself, Though Does Seem To Be Easily Scuffed. My Photos Attached Are From A Two Day Shoot With It Out In The Field In Various Locations. Would Be The Perfect Arm For Studio Use! High Recommend This Item If You're In The Market Of A Good Grip Arm. This Arm Functions Well Every Time I Pull It Out And Use It On Set. [I Have Received This Product In Exchange For My Honest Review.]

This Impact 40" Grip Arm Has Worked Flawlessly For Me. It Feels Solid, Well-made, And Can Easily Handle Lights, Flags, Or Reflectors Without Slipping. What Really Stands Out To Me, Though, Are The Knobs. They Feel Great In The Hand, Nice And Beefy, Giving You Plenty Of Leverage To Tighten Things Down Securely. You Can Tell Right Away This Was Designed With Professional Use In Mind. The Grip Head Holds Strong Once Locked In Place, And The Hex End Keeps Accessories From Rotating, Which Is A Big Help When Working With Lights Or Modifiers Overhead. The Whole Arm Just Has A Professional Feel To It. If You Do Any Kind Of Studio Or Location Lighting, This Grip Arm Is A Must-have. It’s Built Tough, Does Exactly What It Should, And Feels Great To Use Every Time. [I Have Received This Product In Exchange For My Honest Review.]
