Can you do 4 inputs and one output? Will his work with OWC Mercury Helios 3S Thunderbolt 3 PCIe Expansion Solution which is x4?
No, when using all the Blackmagic Design DeckLink 8K Pro G2 Capture Card's four bidirectional SDI as inputs, you will not be able to create an output channel. The HDMI port shares I/O with channel #1. With all inputs being used as input signals, you will not be able to create an output via HDMI or SDI.

The Sonnet Echo SE I T5 (Thunderbolt 5) chassis allows you to connect One Full-height, Half-length+ PCIe Card (Plus Daughter Card), perfect for the Blackmagic Decklink 8k Pro G2 card. Can you do 5 inputs at the same time? Or do one of the SDI's get shut off when you use the HDMI?
The Blackmagic Design DeckLink 8K Pro G2 Capture Card can only support up to four inputs at one time, so you would not be able to use all five inputs at once.

The Resolve license is not included with Decklink products.

If I link together 2 outputs for an alpha key, are you saying that the g2 card doesn't bundle remaining 2 (unlike g1)?
The Blackmagic Design DeckLink 8K Pro G2 Capture Card is identical in function to the G1, but the G2 also has an additional HDMI port.
