I was looking for a lightweight yet stable and compact tripod to use with my teleprompter setup, and this Ulanzi tripod exceeded my expectations. Considering its price, the quality and performance are outstanding. The construction is solid, the adjustments are precise, and the fluid head provides smooth camera movements for dynamic shots. You can even fine-tune the movement resistance and set the tripod in multiple positions. It also comes with a phone adapter, which is a great bonus. Highly recommended for anyone needing a reliable and portable tripod for professional-looking video recordings.

I was looking for a video tripod to use with my Lumiz FZ80 bridge camera to film stationary or slow-moving birds on my walks, and this tripod has done its job. Lightweight, easy-to-adjust, and little-to-no shifting after being clamped down (even at high focal lengths of 1200 mm). Fluid head is smooth (albeit unable to be adjusted) especially when using such a light camera. Punches well above its price point.

There are two reviews. One says the fluid movement can be adjusted. The other says it can't. Which is it?
The tightness of the head on the tripod can be changed but because the Ulanzi Ombra XIANG Aluminum Travel Tripod with Fluid Head does not have a true video fluid head with horizontal motion fluidity, you cannot adjust the tension of said tightness.
