The Pelican 1472 Shoulder Strap is an optional accessory strap for a Pelican 1470 or 1490 series case. It includes two circular attachment rings to clip the strap to the case.

The strap is installed in my Pelican1490 case housing a macbook pro. The instructions coming with the strap are great... however the 1490 comes with waterproof rubber grommets inserted where the strap holes are on the side of the case. They are very snug and not very visible at first. You must push them out from the inside of the case with a screwdriver to remove each one out to clear the hole to be able to attach the waterproof strap hooking device. The instructions to do all this are absent with the case and with the strap. It's left up up to you to figure this out...Nevertheless, it's easy, and fast, installing the strap.
