SmallRig 4491 Overview

The HawkLock H21 Universal 1/4"-20 Quick Release Mount Plate Kit from SmallRig is a compact aluminum baseplate and quick release plate with a 1/4"-20 anti-twist screw. This system features a HawkLock quick release design with a button release that is ideal for quickly mounting and unmounting a monitor, LED light, mic, or other small camera accessory featuring a male shoe adapter.

The base features a 1/4"-20 thread with anti-twist divots for mounting onto a cage or rig. The SmallRig HawkLock system features rollers and a safety pin, which provide easy on/off mounting using the HawkLock-style notches. The set features a load capacity of 11 lb.

Worked at first... then I almost lost gear

Purchased one and it worked so well I purchased 2 more... until they didn't work anymore. After the slightest bit of dust the rollers/safety pin system started sticking in the UNLOCKED position and equipment started slipping out of the mount. I was using them for a GoPro and Insta360 mounted to a motorcycle.

I wish I got this sooner

This is one of those gadgets that you don't know you need it, until you get it and wish you had gotten it sooner. Very easy to use and a time and frustration saver for me.

The SmallRig HawkLock H21 Universal 1/4"-20 Quick Release Mount Plate Kit does require a secure push in order to release.
