I needed flexibility on mounting the Pyro S on my camera. The larger, floppy antennas were not going to work. I tried some off-brand, cheap antenna nubs, but they were a bit unreliable and didn't stay on nearly as tight. I ordered 6 total of these and they work phenomenally. I was using the Pyro S in a live-capture environment with a bunch of other wireless (mixed brands) and many wifi users and never had a dropout.
Purchased to use on my on-camera Pyro 7, and I love the low-profile look compared to the included antennas.
