Perfect for Air Travel

I have used this backpack on several domestic and international trips that included air travel. As pointed out by another reviewer, this backpack, fully loaded, will fit under the seat of most planes with the possible exception of those that have used the under-seat space for wi-fi equipment (like some of the regional jets used by Delta). On my most recent trip I was able to fit the following gear into the camera compartment alone, leaving the remainder of the backpack available for travel necessities, medications, extra eyeglasses small clothing items, et. When not possible to stow it under the seat in front of me I have been able to get it into a relatively small space in an overhead bin. The shoulder straps and trolley strap all work well and the zippers will accommodate small TSA locks. Recent trip to Portugal and Spain (Delta and KLM) Sony A7RV, Sony A7CR, Sony 24-105, Sony 16-35 PZ-G, Laowa 10mm. There was still space in the camera compartment for extra batteries and memory cards.

I was looking for a backpack that would meet the under seat requirements of European airlines. The staff at B&H found me the perfect backpack that would give me the most storage space. The customer service at B&H is the best!

The Lowepro Truckee BP 250 LX Camera Backpack (18L) has exterior dimensions of 17.3 x 11.8 x 7.9 inches which will fit the under seat size requirements of some airlines. Always check with your carrier for the under seat size restrictions.

Is the camera compartment removable if I want to make one big space in the bag?

You can take out the partitions in the camera compartment and the middle of the Lowepro Truckee BP 250 LX Camera Backpack (Gray, 18L) to make it one large space.
