Great heavy-duty, compact ground level bird/wildlife solution

I do mostly bird photography and needed something that could sit at ground level, slip into a pocket, and hold a Sony 200-600 lens. It's covered all those requirements so I've been really happy. I've also used it for some street photography with my Ricoh GRiii. It's metal so it has some weight to it but compared to any normal sized tripod it's lightweight but durable. I use it mostly to shoot videos at water/ground level of birds. Mostly herons at this point. I like to carry as little as possible and this fits in a pocket so I can set it up and mount my lens quickly to record without shaking like I used to deal with when I only did handheld video. I was able to set it up on a dock today while I waited for an osprey up in a tree to dive. Very versatile, what I've been looking for for a while.

Powerful Ball Head and Sturdy Legs

I bought this unit to replace the legs on my Ronin S4 and to be able to set it down on uneven surfaces. The ball head has enough holding strength to support my heavy gimbal with a Canon R6ii and 24-70 lens. The legs have a wider spread than the Ronin legs and feel more robust.
