Using the USB-C input: does it contain the necessary noise canceling filters or would I have to purchase a separate noise canceling DDC?
The FiiO K11 R2R Desktop DAC and Headphone Amplifier (Black) does not feature noise-canceling filters through its USB-C port. If you want that feature, a separate DDC will be required.

The NOS mode maintains the original sampling rate for decoding, which preserves an authentic sound and allows you to enjoy an organic and captivating musical experience. Alternatively, OS mode up-samples globally to a high sampling rate of 384kHz for superior audio performance and an even more refined, clear sound. The standard K11 model does not offer these modes.
