A compact and lightweight large format camera for photographers of all skill levels, the Intrepid 8 x 10 View Camera offers a wide range of camera movements and support for working with an extensive array of lenses with a standard Copal shutter. In its base configuration, the camera's removable red bellows provide 20.1" of extension to support working with focal length lenses from 180 to 480mm. Full front movements are available as well as rear base tilt, and the rear standard rotates for horizontal and vertical shooting. Strong magnets and two lockable clips secure the rear standard, while the aluminum base and rear-controlled linear focus mechanism provide additional stability and sharp focus.

Intrepid Camera 8x10 Camera Overview

A compact and lightweight large format camera for photographers of all skill levels, the Intrepid 8 x 10 View Camera offers a wide range of camera movements and support for working with an extensive array of lenses with a standard Copal shutter. In its base configuration, the camera's removable red bellows provide 20.1" of extension to support working with focal length lenses from 180 to 480mm. Full front movements are available as well as rear base tilt, and the rear standard rotates for horizontal and vertical shooting. Strong magnets and two lockable clips secure the rear standard, while the aluminum base and rear-controlled linear focus mechanism provide additional stability and sharp focus.

The Intrepid 8x10 View Camera can be folded flat when not in use for easy storage and transport. A bright ground glass featuring a half-inch grid is included, and an optional Fresnel is available for ultrawide-angle lenses.
